FEASt (Florida Electro-Acoustic STudent) Fest runs all weekend, with special lectures by Orlando Jacinto Garcia, Juraj Kojs, and Nathan Wolek. Special perfomrances by FLEA! The episodic "bituminous" from "songs of fuel and insomnia" is featured as part of the festivities.

They perform a free version of "lathyrus" in addition to Elliott Sharp's "Hammer Anvil Stirrup," Orlando Garcia's "after life," and a new piece for yo-yos and electronics by Jaclyn Heyen. Sleepless Night runs from 6pm - 11pm, and FLEA will be performing at the Wolfsonian.

A new sound installation "portable" is performed in Long Beach (CA) as part of the 2009 Soundwalk. The piece involves multiple suitcase radio transmitters/receivers such that one can easily create feedback and generate tones inflected by interfering local radio signals.
